I completed my training in Dance and Movement Therapy (AgapeAcademy), and from there I add an extra dimension to what I offer “for you.” With body-oriented therapy, we start from what you perceive, feel, experience, and what that tells you. We reflect on what is going on in your life and what your resources might be, and from there we explore what movement you want to bring into your life.
Bring movement into your life with body-oriented theapy
Do you feel overwhelmed, less in control, and uncomfortable? Do you worry or feel paralyzed, even though you want to take action? It’s as if you're stuck, while your heart and mind want something else. You're searching for the answers to "what?" and "how?"
I offer body-oriented therapy, based on the principles of dance and movement therapy.
How does body-oriented therapy works?
In my practice, we start with what you feel, experience, and perceive, and what that is trying to tell you. Your physical sensations are a rich source of information. What do you feel when you
talk about a certain topic? How does your body react under pressure? These sensations tell us something that our minds alone can't always explain. I create a safe environment where I invite you to be curious about yourself, without judgment. You will discover your resources, gain insight into your patterns, and learn how to get your own life moving again. I combine insights from dance and movement therapy, trauma work, and constellation work to help you get closer to yourself. My goal? To help you choose more consciously what you need, walk your own path, and create healthy space for yourself and for others.
What makes this approach unique?
● Body-oriented: You are more than your thoughts. By starting with your physical sensations, you reconnect with yourself. From there, you build a stronger connection
with your heart and mind.
● Systemic: You are part of a larger whole. I help you make that system visible so you can see connections and patterns. We'll give unexpected issues a place, helping you gain
deeper insights.
● Gentle confrontation: I name what needs to be named, but always within a safe and supportive environment. Together, we will explore your boundaries and shift them, step
by step, so you can truly make the changes you're looking for.
